Strengths
The Primary School at Renaissance covers Year 1 through to Year 6 and our quality programme is based on the National Curriculum for England enhanced by the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). As the only Round Square school in Vietnam, the Primary School actively embeds the associated IDEALS through the programme and this provides the students with an expansive educational experience.
KEY STAGE ONE (Year 1 and 2)
In Key Stage 1 (KS1) the school adopts a creative approach to curriculum delivery with a strong cross curricular approach, which helps the students make meaningful connections between and across subject disciplines.
Apart from core instruction in Mathematics and Language and the associated IPC units, specialist teachers provide instruction in Music, Physical Education, Swimming, Vietnamese Language or Vietnamese Language and Culture and Library. Technology is an important feature in the curriculum and is integrated in the programme. From Year 2, students have the opportunity to study French or Chinese.
With inquiry based learning a key feature of the programme, students are encouraged to think critically, communicate using a variety of tools, problem solve, research and collaborate. Learning is student centred as opposed to teacher driven and teachers use both the indoor and outdoor environments to enhance student learning.
KEY STAGE TWO (Year 3, 4, 5 and 6)
In Key Stage 2 (KS2) the school adopts a creative approach to curriculum delivery with a strong cross curricular approach which helps the students make meaningful connections between and across subject disciplines. There is an equally strong focus on academic rigour, on the integration of technology and on developing and enhancing research, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Apart from core instruction in Mathematics and Language and the associated IPC units, specialist teachers provide instruction in Music, Physical Education, Swimming, Vietnamese Language or Vietnamese Language and Culture and Library. Technology is an important feature is the curriculum and is integrated in the programme, whilst French and Chinese are offered as third languages.
In Key Stage 2 students are challenged to become actively involved in their own learning and personal and social development are also key priorities.

Member from 2021Thật ra câu chuyện chọn trường cho con vào lớp 1 luôn là mối quan tâm hàng đầu của các bậc phụ huynh. Trước đây mình đã chọn cho con một trường quốc tế khác nhưng rồi nhưng khi làm bài “test” thì bé nhà mình hơi hiếu động nên trường cũ đã không nhận dù mình thuyết phục rất nhiều. Sau khi tìm hiểu qua bạn bè, báo chí và internet, mình đã quyết định chọn Renaissance.Lựa chọn này đã được kiểm chứng qua quá trình hoạt động của bé khi học hè cũng như học chính khóa, và tới thời điểm này mình hoàn toàn yên tâm khi cho bé theo học tại Renaissance.
