FACILITIES

The school is located in the heart of District 3, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ba Huyen Thanh Quan Street, right next to Tao Dan Park. Its convenient location allows children to easily participate in extracurricular activities, play, explore nature, and learn about the surrounding environment. The wide and safe pavement also makes drop-off and pick-up more convenient for parents.

The school’s facilities are modern, with a total area of more than 3,000m², including 16 classrooms: 12 for children and 4 specialized function rooms (STEAM, library, physical education, English – music – cooking). The outdoor playground is designed to be green, safe, and nature-friendly – a space where children can exercise, explore, create, and learn in a natural environment. Especially, children also experience taking care of the Hai Yen Vegetable Garden, helping them develop awareness and practical life skills.

One of the school’s greatest prides is its experienced team of teachers, many of whom have been with the school since its early days. They deeply understand children’s psychology and developmental needs, from which they build appropriate care and educational methods. Moreover, Hai Yen has earned parents’ trust through its scientific nutrition program: a modern one-way kitchen system, ingredients carefully selected from reputable suppliers such as Mega, TH True Milk, and Vinamilk. The menu is diverse, balanced, and suitable for children’s tastes. Children are provided with milk in sufficient amounts, adjusted flexibly according to their needs. Parents often share that their kids “enjoy meals and look forward to every lunch at school” thanks to the skill and dedication of the kitchen staff.

With tuition fees starting from only 6 million VND/month, children can attend school from Monday to Saturday without any extra fee for Saturdays – a rare advantage among preschools in District 3. The school also supports parents by offering extended care from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (with a small fee, but not increased if parents are late). Hai Yen does not charge registration fees or additional costs; parents only pay once at the beginning, ensuring peace of mind afterward.

Each academic year, the school organizes many exciting events completely free of charge. For children with slower development, Hai Yen always encourages them to join mainstream classes, naturally integrating with friends without discrimination. Thousands of students have graduated, many of whom are now 30 years old, working in various fields both in Vietnam and abroad, and still return to visit the school. Generation after generation, parents continue to entrust their children to Hai Yen, reflecting a meaningful and enduring bond.

In the school year 2025–2026, Hai Yen Kindergarten continues its strong transformation by upgrading facilities and implementing modern programs, aiming to nurture a generation of global citizens who are confident, internationally integrated, yet still rooted in Vietnamese cultural identity. CURRICULUM AT HAI YEN KINDERGARTEN

STANDARD PROGRAM

The Standard Program at Hai Yen Kindergarten applies the Project-Based Learning method, placing children at the center, with the belief that every child has the ability to express thoughts and creativity in different ways. Children actively explore real-life topics through experiences, asking questions, teamwork, and creating learning products. Learning is driven by children’s curiosity and interests, helping them develop problem-solving skills, language, physical abilities, confidence, and cooperation skills. At Hai Yen, the learning environment is always inspiring, where every child is respected, listened to, and developed holistically in their own way.

Each week, children have two English classes (40–45 minutes) with foreign teachers, and parents can register for an extra fee of 700,000 VND. If not registered, children still learn English with Vietnamese teachers (35 minutes/2 sessions per week) to get familiar with a new language. For children aged 5–6, the school offers a Pre-Primary program to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare for Grade 1. In addition, children learn Thinking Math (once a week), licensed music perception classes for infants (6–12 months), and other enrichment activities such as Aerobics, Martial Arts, and Music (introduction to instruments), all taught by specialized teachers without extra fees. Currently, the school does not offer trial classes.

INTENSIVE BILINGUAL PROGRAM

The Intensive Bilingual Program is designed for children aged 2–6, with class sizes of 15–20 students (ratio 1 teacher/10 children). It integrates the National Preschool Curriculum with modern international teaching methods, inheriting the solid foundation of over 25 years of the school’s development.

The program follows U.S. preschool education standards with 12 diverse learning themes. Children study in both English and Vietnamese with balanced time: 50% with foreign teachers and 50% in Vietnamese every day. Subjects such as Math, Science, Arts, Cooking, and Physical Education are taught entirely in English using the Content-Based Instruction method, helping children acquire the language naturally. Additionally, Emotional and Social Skills Education (EQ) is officially integrated into the curriculum using the Second Step program, applied in over 70 countries worldwide.

EMOTIONAL & SOCIAL SKILLS EDUCATION

Emotional and Social Skills Education (EQ) is taught as a core subject in all classes, helping children balance EQ and IQ. IQ lessons support observation and problem analysis, while EQ lessons teach children how to handle situations appropriately. This combination builds a foundation for children to grow up confident, independent, and happy.
