Strengths
The Lower Secondary School at Australian International School (AIS) is for students aged 11 to 15 (Years 7 to 11) and follows the University of Cambridge Secondary programme. It extends the inquiry-based approach that the IB Primary Years Programme offers while also preparing the students for the rigours, challenges and demands of the IB Diploma Programme.
All students undertake major and minor core subjects. A strong focus on English, Mathematics and Science is a feature of the School. Well-equipped classrooms and laboratories provide an ideal setting for practical, experiential learning. Information Technology is used extensively in all curriculum areas and specialist teachers in Art, Music and Physical Education allow students to allow students to develop interests and skills that will last a life time.
Our programmes provide not only rigour and challenge, but depth, breadth and variety. Our academic and co-curricular programmes provide students with enriching experiences and opportunities. AIS is committed to providing a secondary school education of the highest standards, maintained by internationally qualified and knowledgeable teachers who keep abreast of change and innovative educational trends.
Students have specialist teachers in each subject. Gifted and talented students are extended through enrichment and accelerated learning programmes in selected subjects.

Member from 2021Ngôi trường quốc tế chuẩn Úc nhìn tổng quan thì bên ngoài cổng trường rất sạch sẽ, khu vực vỉa hè cũng như cổng rất thông thoáng nên hạn chế việc chen lấn giữa xe và học sinh.Học sinh đồng phục gọn gàng và ý thức, đặc biệt đa số các bé là người ngoại quốc nên kỹ luật gia đình cao. Xe đậu khi rước các bé tan học cũng ý thức không kém nhé. Bên trong trường thì rộng rãi và rất sạch nhé bạn, có sân thể thao riêng nữa nha.

Member from 2021Bạn bè tôi có con học tại AIS đều nói trẻ học ở đây tiến bộ, tốt, thích nghi, tự tin, học tiếng Anh trong môi trường phản xạ nên tôi quyết định cho cháu theo học. Cháu được thầy cô quan tâm, học ở môi trường nhẹ nhàng vui vẻ, các bạn rất hòa đồng nên cháu rất vui vẻ, thoải mái.
